Ruler’s Auto Carport is searching for a gifted auto painter. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for automotive repainting. The Automotive Painter is responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, mixing and applying paint, and ensuring high quality workmanship.
Main Job Duties
Preparation:
Inspects vehicles to identify repairs and paint needed.
Prepares surfaces for painting by removing old paint, sanding, masking, and cleaning.
Fills and repairs dents, scratches, and other defects.
Painting:
Mix paint colors to achieve desired color.
Apply groundwork, base coat, and clear coat utilizing splash weapons and other artistic creation hardware.Produce an even, smooth finish free of drips, sags, dust, and other defects.
Finishing:
Inspect painted surfaces for defects and touch up as necessary.
Buff and polish painted areas to a shiny finish.
Reassemble painted vehicle parts and perform final inspection.
Maintenance:
Maintain painting equipment in good condition.

Qualifications
