About the Opportunity
We are looking for passionate, motivated individuals who enjoy helping others, treat everyone with compassion, dignity, and respect, and are fluent in English and Spanish for the seasonal position of Foreign Labor Assistant. As a Foreign Worker Assistant, you will assist the TFW Coordinator with ongoing support and translation of temporary foreign workers during the busy months of July through October. In addition, you will support the Human Resources Department with related administrative tasks, event planning, and other duties as assigned.
As the FW Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties
- – Assist the TFW Coordinator in communicating with and supporting guest workers.
- – Accompany TFWs to appointments and ensure all legal and administrative paperwork is completed.
- – Translate various materials (publications, communications, presentations, reports, etc.) from English to Spanish and vice versa in the areas of payroll, training, and human resource management.
- – Accompany foreign workers to medical appointments or hospitals, complete necessary medical forms, and serve as liaison and interpreter
- – Ensure respect and compliance with health and safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and all company policies and procedures
- – Attend facility meetings with TFWs and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel (complaints, concerns, repair requests, damage, etc.)
- – Partake in the association of organization occasions.
