We are looking for someone who can contribute to our consulting assignment WASH SDG Programme and coordinate with different team members to ensure their timely execution.

The WASH SDG Programme aims to sustainably improve access to, and use of, safe drinking water for at least 450,000 people, sanitation for at least 2 million people and improve the hygiene behaviors of 1.6 million people before the end of 2022.

The program comprises three pathways: public sector, demand generation, and private sector. Biruwa Advisors supports the project to improve the private sector for sustainable and equitable delivery of WASH products and services.

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Assist the Project Manager in conducting field level activities
  • Manage client relationships and deal with various external stakeholders of the project
  • Create an itinerary for the project and plan logistics as per requirement
  • Maintain and collect information for operational activities
  • Keep proper track of the project activities and update them in the daily meeting
  • Draft proposals in close collaboration with partners and associates
  • Conduct primary and secondary research and draft reports
  • Other tasks as assigned by the team when required

Qualifications and Other Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in the field of Business, Economics or International Development)
  • Commitment for 1-year

Essentials 

  • Good command of English and Nepali (both written and verbal)
  • Basic knowledge of research
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Persistence, flexibility, and a knack for building rapport quickly
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and people
  • Self-motivated with the ability to collaborate with other departments and work under limited guidance
  • Kohalpur based candidates
  • Has a valid two-wheeler driving license

Other Preferences 

  • 1 year of work experience in development projects or organizations
  • Skills generated through prior experience in market research and analysis
  • Female candidates
